General Restrictions
- Vouchers purchased from tour companies must be redeemed at the time of check-in to be valid.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24-hours prior to the reserved program. Groups may require a longer cancellation period depending on size.
- No refunds will be issued for guests that do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies.
- We go rain or shine! No refunds for bad weather unless Dolphin Encounters cancels the excursion.
- Dolphin Encounters reserves the right, under certain circumstances, to omit specific behaviors or interactions from the program.
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the property.
- We will provide full assistance for manual wheelchairs including providing wheelchair access into the water (with our waterproof chair) for the Dolphin Encounter program. For boating purposes, motorized powerchairs and non-collapsible wheelchairs are not allowed on our boats.
Rules and Restrictions for Dolphin Swim Program
- Guests ages 6 to 12 must be accompanied (in the water) by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the swim. Parent or guardian must be at least 18 years of age.
- Guests ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult (with any paid ticket) to sign the liability waiver.
- Guests must have the ability to go up and down ladders to access platform.
- Pregnant women are not allowed in swim program.
- Guests age 5 or younger are not allowed in swim program & may observe for free if attended on the dock by a responsible parent or guardian with an observer ticket.
Rules and Restrictions for Dolphin Encounter Program
- Guests age 3 or younger participate for free if accompanied in the program by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the encounter. Parent or guardian must be at least 18 years of age.
- Guests ages 4 to 12 may participate at full price & must be accompanied (in the water) by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the encounter.
- Guests wishing to upgrade from the Encounter to available Swim spaces may apply the value of the encounter ticket toward the purchase of the upgrade.
Rules and Restrictions for Sea Lion Encounter Program
- Guests 8 years and older OR 48 inches tall may participate in the Sea Lion Encounter.
- Guests ages 8 to 12 must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult with a ticket for the Sea Lion Encounter.
- Pregnant women are not allowed in this program.
- Guests must have the ability to go up and down steps and ramp to access the platform.
- We are not able to accommodate handicapped persons in the Sea Lion Encounter.
- All other general Dolphin Encounters policies apply for the Sea Lion Encounter.
- No cameras allowed in Sea Lion Encounter program.
Rules and Restrictions for the Program Observer
- Guests age 3 or younger may observe for free if accompanied by a responsible, paying adult with an observer ticket. Parent or guardian must be at least 18 years of age.
- Children 4 and older pay $25.00 and must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult with an observer ticket.
- Observers wishing to upgrade to available Dolphin Swim, Dolphin Encounter, or Sea Lion Encounter spaces may apply the value of the observer ticket toward the purchase of the upgrade.
